Along Interstate 5, just south of Stockton, CA

2001-2003

Client: Joint venture between City of Stockton/Public Arts

and Caltrans/Division 10

A design upgrade to a standard concrete block, DOT-designed soundwall. 2200 feet long and 15 feet tall, this wall is planned to shield a neighborhood from the adjacent Interstate 5.

Collaboration with artist Johanna Poethig.
